BEA is the central first-stop shop set up by the regional authorities to provide advice and consulting services to Brussels-based companies and to companies wishing to set up a business in Brussels. BEA provides assistance to foreign investors on such crucial matters as finding the ideal location to set up a business, addressing legal issues and determining if public grants are available.
BEA’s in-house experts, as well as their networks of contacts in the region, can provide answers to all your questions regarding the creation or development of an enterprise in the Brussels-Capital Region. The agency also can put you in contact with key individuals at all the relevant institutions, associations and professional organizations that can aid in assuring that your enterprise is both successful and profitable.
BEA’s strength lies in its multidisciplinary team of experts who work in close collaboration under one roof. This allows the agency to make optimal use of the resources available: thus assuring that existing and future enterprises get tailor made assistance and the specific information they require.
Under FP6, BEA is one the Belgian National contacts points for the programs SMEs and Innovation and provides as such information and assistance to SMEs and project coordinators interested to take SMEs on board in the new instruments.
BEA (ex Technopol) is also the Innovation Relay Centre for the Region (Bruxelles-Capitale) and was previously Value Relay Centre since the start of this programme in 1993.
